On the ConnectCore MP1 modules (both the 13 and 15) we are using an integrated wireless solution from Murata. These modules do not require any external matching on the antenna path, so we are just driving the RF output of the chip direclty to the u.FL connector. In addition, on the CCMP1 we are neither including the RF switch for selecting between the internal or external antenna, which means that the RF signal is only available at the on-module u.FL connector.
We do not include any filtering on the antenna path inside the SOM besides the ESD protection.
